Donate to a charity
Charities will accept items in good condition you don’t want or need anymore. Put them in your local Collection Bin or give them over the counter. Some charities offer a pick-up service – visit Smith Family, Salvos, Vinnies for more info.

Drop off to Reverse Garbage
Reverse Garbage takes all sorts of materials for reuse. Call to check your donation will be accepted on 02 9569 3132 or email any questions. It’s open for donations Monday to Saturday 9am-4pm (no Sundays).

Donate to the Bower
If you have household furniture, bikes, kitchenware, books, working appliances or small amounts of building materials that you no longer want, call The Bower on 02 9568 6280 to see if they can take your donation. They offer a free collection service for City of Sydney residents. If they can’t take your goods they’ll refer you to someone who will.
